The rain song

Hello my dearests,

This weekend the bad weather came back to my hometown, so the photos had to be a little improvised.. Hope you enjoy them anyway. This post is completely inspired by my mother, since the clothes came from her closet (she doesn't wear them anymore). The skirt has a peachy colour (I know it looks white, damn you light) and it's classy as hell, but the star of the show is the velvet body with a laced neck! How I love this piece. You know the drill, accessorize with some pearls and a necklace, and you're good to go. The umbrella just makes the whole thing a lot more fun! Hope you agree :)

That fresh feeling

Today I have another outfit to show you. It's been hot as hell the last couple of days, so I feel like wearing fresh clothes. For this oufit, I put together a tartan skirt found in my grandma's wooden chest, a simple crop top with lace in the back, and chunky black boots by SpyLoveBuy. Acessorized a bit and it was done. "Na cama com..." | "In bed with..."

People who know me have learned that I enjoy being photographed. I love the thought of perpetuating my present self-image, so I can one day look back and remember that precise moment (or just shove it on my children's faces). Note that I'm not a model, and will never consider myself one.

By now I've had the pleasure to work with very talented people, being the person I've worked with the most a personal friend, Carolina Miguel. Today Carolina is opening her first photography exhibition, featuring people in their beds. It's called "Na cama com..." or, in english, "In bed with...".

I'm proud to say that me and my bed will be featured there, and I would love to invite you to stop by and show her some love.

I think we're like fire and water

Hey there!

For my post debut, I leave you with some photos of my yesterday's outfit. It's all about dressy casual, a floral dress with a beautiful bow in the back, with a lace cardigan that used to be my mother's. How I love to inherit old clothes! To style it up a bit, black creepers and a fringe bag. I think they turned out rad! What do you think?
